BIOTROP President Jonas Hipólito Recognized Among Brazil’s 100 Most Influential Agribusiness Leaders

BioWorks Europe, part of BIOTROP and the BioFirst Group, proudly congratulates Jonas Hipólito, President and Co-founder of BIOTROP, on being recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Figures in Brazilian Agribusiness in the Industry category.

The recognition was awarded by Grupo Mídia during a ceremony held on April 28 at the historic Theatro Pedro II in Ribeirão Preto, Brazil. Each year, Grupo Mídia honors leaders who make a significant contribution to the development and transformation of Brazilian agribusiness across multiple sectors.

Jonas Hipólito was selected through a combination of public voting and an editorial market assessment evaluating the impact of industry leaders over the past 12 months.

As co-founder of BIOTROP alongside Antonio Carlos Zem, Jonas has played a key role in shaping the company’s growth and innovation journey. Before becoming President in January 2025, he led the areas of Marketing & Strategy and Innovation & Strategy. He is also a member of YPO, the global leadership community connecting business leaders worldwide.

Under his leadership, BIOTROP continues to advance sustainable, productive, and regenerative agriculture while accelerating its international expansion. One of the latest milestones in this journey is the integration of BioWorks’ operations in Europe and the United States into the BIOTROP organization.
